Not sure about the state of your roof? If it is more than 15 years old you may have noticed lichen, moss or algae growing. If it’s a concrete tile roof, some of the tiles or mortar may be cracked or broken and the protective surface coating may have worn away. The original colour coat may have chalked and faded and lost its good looks. A metal tiled roof may be starting to show bare metal or have some dented tiles.
